In the upper section, two curves in the stem are filled with a stylised four-legged animal and a fowl with outstretched wings. A frieze of small white rectangles separates the upper and lower sections of the band. Only a small section of yellow scroll on a red background remains of the latter.

Coll. J-F Bouvier, inv. M 12, M 20: the two textiles from the Bouvier Collection denote Abbasid influences and would have come from the Egyptian workshop of Bahnasa.
